BOBBIE E. BROWN
Exploded 3 Pillboxes, Thrice Injured

July 12th, 2005-- Captain Bobbie E. Brown found himself amidst the attack against Nazi Germany's key defense at Crucifix Hill near Aachen, Germany during World War II. Captain Brown crawled over exposed ground and then ran the remaining distance to a German pillbox and tossed his explosive inside. The deadly pillbox was destroyed. Capt. Brown would repeat this action twice more that day, getting injured from a mortar blast on the third pillbox. He refused medical attention and continued to lead his men getting injured two more times but continued to aid in the destruction of the formidable German defenses...
