Aaron Feis is selected as a 2019 Single Act of Heroism Honoree for his courage on February 14, 2018, when he shielded his students during an incident at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida. Though Mr. Feis succumbed from injuries related to the incident, he is attributed with saving the lives of at least two students. Feis’ selfless heroism reflects honorably on himself, his family and the State of Florida.
