As a follow-up to the first leadership lesson, this distance learning module introduces students to the burden of leadership and the traits of a good leader through a mix of engaging video elements and hands-on group activities. Middle and high school students will be asked to explain and identify character traits and leadership styles that are effective in leading groups and/or individuals, after hearing the stories of Medal of Honor Recipients Jay Vargas and Paul Bucha. All necessary materials are provided within the lesson, including the "Burden" of Leadership Lesson PDF, Worksheets, and Living History videos for Jay Vargas and Paul Bucha.
