Celebrating Medal of Honor Week
March 25th marks National Medal of Honor Day, where we commemorate the Recipients and honor their service to our country. The annual event was set in 2007 to educate the public on what it means to wear the Medal and how communities across the nation can embrace the Medal’s values of courage, commitment, sacrifice, integrity, citizenship, and patriotism.
Throughout Medal of Honor Week, the Recipients honor those who gave everything and those who are still serving in the military by participating in numerous events across the country.
These events further demonstrate the work of the Recipients and their willingness to give, even on a day dedicated to their service.
Webinar Interview with Recipient Harold Fritz:
To kick off Medal of Honor Week, we have asked Recipient Harold Fritz to join us for a webinar interview.
Recipient Fritz served during the Vietnam War and was awarded the Medal of Honor for his selfless service. While on a mission, his column suddenly came under intense enemy fire. Even though he was wounded, Recipient Fritz continued to expose himself to fire to assist the wounded and improve defenses. Because of his actions that day, he was awarded the Medal of Honor.
We invite you to join us on Tuesday, March 23rd at 1 p.m. EST to hear about the Medal of Honor, the values it represents, and how the Recipients commemorate Medal of Honor Day. Register here.
Webinar with The National World War I Museum:
In celebration of National Medal of Honor Day, we are partnering with The National WWI Museum and Memorial for a webinar to discuss bravery, resilience, and love of country.

This event will take place on March 25th.
