The Congressional Medal of Honor Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, chartered by Congress in 1958 and dedicated to supporting Recipients of the Medal of Honor and their outreach efforts in communities and schools across the country. The Society’s members wear the Medal of Honor, our nation’s highest honor for military valor in action. The Congressional Medal of Honor Society is dedicated to preserving the legacy of the Medal of Honor and its Recipients and supporting the Recipients as they connect with communities across the country.
