On July 19, 1944, Maj. Gen. Joseph C. Fegan presented the Medal of Honor to Private Richard K. Sorenson at Seattle Naval Hospital, Seattle, Washington. Sorenson was recognized for his heroic actions at the Marshall Islands during World War II. No sound.
