  1. Introduction

    Students will identify what they have learned about the Medal of Honor, write about their favorite Medal of Honor Recipient, and more.

  2. Objectives

    This lesson is taught in four 45-minute sessions.

    Students Will:

    • Identify what they have learned about the Medal of Honor

    • Write about their favorite Medal of Honor Recipient and provide evidence showing why he or she is their favorite

    • Make a connection between their favorite Recipient and the value(s) that person represents

    • Identify how the program has impacted them and provide evidence

    • Make a personal connection with one core value and provide examples to support their choice
