This series offers shorter lessons designed specifically for Advisory, Leadership, Social-Emotional, or Guidance classes that may not have time to complete full class-length lessons. The Dear Young American video series from MilitaryTimes provides specific advice to students and allows opportunities for students to reflect on the values of courage, commitment, sacrifice, integrity, citizenship, and patriotism.
These lessons progress in complexity and can be modified based on grade level or ability. Each lesson in this series is designed to last approximately 20-30 minutes, and each lesson builds upon the previous lesson’s concepts.
