The Congressional Medal of Honor Society—the membership organization of Medal of Honor Recipients founded by Congress–plays a vital role in preserving the legacy and spirit of the 3,516 Medal of Honor Recipients. The Society’s mission extends far beyond recognizing these heroes; they actively work to support Medal of Honor recipients, promote patriotism, and inspire future generations.
By donating to the Medal of Honor Foundation, you become an integral part of this noble cause. Your contribution will directly impact the lives of our Medal of Honor recipients, ensuring they receive the support, recognition, and resources they need. These remarkable individuals, who have made immense sacrifices for our freedom, deserve nothing less.
Your generous donation will also aid the Society in organizing educational programs, scholarships, and outreach initiatives that instill the values of courage, integrity, and selfless service in our youth. By investing in the Society’s efforts, you help shape the leaders and heroes of tomorrow.
501(c)(3) nonprofit and gifts to the Foundation may qualify as a charitable deduction for federal income tax purposes. Please consult with your tax advisor or the IRS to determine whether a contribution is deductible.
There are a variety of ways that organizations can partner with the Medal of Honor Foundation such as underwriting one of the Congressional Medal of Honor Society’s annual traditions like the Citizen Honors Awards dinner or through our Mission Partners program.
There are five Mission Partner levels. Your organization’s level will be determined by a direct financial contribution, the value assigned to in-kind donations, or a combination of both.
